When the ADC Awards committee asked us to design the promotional materials for the 103rd show, the inspiration became clear: the trophy itself, the Cube. An object of fascination and desire for people in the visual-design, fashion and advertising fields the world over, this award represents more than just luck. It’s the result of deep commitment, elbow grease, intense collaboration, late nights, do-overs and plenty of midnight oil. Every graphical element in our campaign was inspired by the trophy’s square shape and the colors of its materials. All this led to a celebratory and reverent design system to inspire all who entered the show to dream big.
